it starts2 fill up then wash but when it comes 2 spin or rinse it makes a humming noise

If the water is not emptying out of the drain hose then the humming noise will be the drain pump. Probably something in it stopping it from turning. Do not leave it humming too long as it will overheat & damage it. It would also help if you told us what machine you are talking about.
