hey, how would i no if my variator is broken and if i need a new 1 wiv out takin it to the shop?? speedfight 2, would the ped start??

If theres an excessive rattling noise coming from the variator on your ped it would mean a strip down to examine the parts to see if there is excessive wear on the rollers etc
The ped would still start
I have just stripped mine and it needs all new rollers
