Fitting replacement door hinges to Zanussi DW907 Dishwasher?

What do I need to dismantle in order to change the door hinges?

Like Mrs Beaton's recipe for Jugged Hare--First find the hare. Can anyone find the source of a replacement spring without being obliged to purchase a complete pair of fittings from Zanussi at £ 40+?
The set contains fittings for both sides of the dishwasher. Using the one spring required leaves you with remaining expensive rubbish.

You have probably figured out by now, but just in case you haven't...

I had the same problem and scratched my head for ages trying to figure out how to get to the hinge to replace one of the springs on a DW 927. I guess your machine will have a very similar design. The solution is blindingly obvious and takes two minutes to fix! Lay the appliance on it's side or back and you can access the hinge springs through the bottom of the unit. Remember to disconnect the power first though!!

I hope this helps.

dont dismantle it just fit the springs onto your old hinges. So much quicker!
