how do i remove the indicator block from peugeot 206hdi?

i removed the plastic covers the switch is incased in a block with the other switches does the srearing wheel need to be removed to slide this off

Yes you need to remove steering wheel which means deactivating airbag system then removing airbag so steering wheel can be removed unless you know how to work on airbag systems leave well alone risk of setting it off
