THE BOTH LEVERS NEED TO BE AT 1.5 BAR

UNIVERSAL HEATING LTD, October 2008
if you are talking about the water pressure gauge then red is only a pointer to guide you it should be always left on 1.5 and grey lever is the one which only moves when you fill your heating system with water and it must be kept to 1.5 bar red lever doesn,t move it self when you increase or decrease water pressure in system.

The red pointer on the
pressure gauge to record the set system pressure 1 to 1.5. See makers instructions.
The normally black pointer is the one that moves when you refill approx 1 to 1.5
Refill when boiler off and turn on heating and run before you use hot water
