Hi, can anyone run me through how to fill my boiler back up. My partner turned on the heating while the rad was off upstairs so the boiler is currently on 0.4 bar (turned off obviously)

when you turn the boiler on it starts to leak i think its coming from the pump i think i opened the caseing and i seen the water when you turn the boiler off the water leak stops

Rick,

you will need to re-pressurise the heating system via the fill-loop which should be positioned near to the boiler,you will recognise this as it has a chrome braided pipe with taps/valves at each end, you will need to open both and keep an eye on the pressure guage untill it reches 1.5bar(do not let it rise more than this as damage may result)
