i took my senic in for a service and had the o2 senor replaced...since then the car has beome juddery, and mpg dropped, the engine light is on. also there is a knocking sound coming from the rear drivers side wheel. due to moving home i can't go back to the same gargae, and can't afford to pay a mechanic to look at it and tell me to pay him more to tell me what is wrong then pay more to fix it.....any help?

common on the 52 scenic,to snap rear shock absorber at top,not easy to tell as s/absorber is gas filled and will stay in the extended position,the only way to tell is to remove bottom fixing,if shock drops off car the broken top eylet will remain in place,ruff running may be as simple as one of the coils gone awol
