Where is the thermostat in a Creda Fan-Assisted oven?

I have a Creda F-A oven as part of a fitted-kitchen. I need to replace the thermostat. Do I need to get the oven out of its fitted space to get access to its rear or should I be able to access the thermostat by removing internal side panels?

By using an oven thermometer, we have discovered that the oven is far cooler than the temperature apparently achieved on the temperature setting dial. For example: dial set to 150 degrees, red light out (indicating that temperature has been reached), actual internal temperature 90 degrees.

Most oven thermostats have a capillary that runs on the top and enters the back of the oven cavity.
To replace thermostat you must remove oven from fitted space.
What are your symtoms for thermostat failure?
