Control panel light Creda Reflection?

How do I replace the control panel light in a Creda Reflection cooker? Taking out the screws round the bezel appears to do nothing. What type of light is it?

I did try to pull the 6 timer buttons out - but the first one I tried broke (the plastic has probably gone brittle over time) - so I ended up having to ease the orange clips and pull the timer box unit forward.

how do i replace oven bulb in creda reflecction oven

Gordon Small, February 2013
Hi
I followed the above instructions but was not able/brave enough to pull the timer buttons off, they seemed to be attached to an orange circuit board and I didnt want to damage this, so as an alternative I pushed the orange clips in , which are on each side of the circuit board, this allowed the circuit board to push forward, which allowed enough rom to access the tube.

the two screws do nothing, just pull off the glued on front panel

Not too tricky to fix. It is an 8w florescent tube 300mm by 16mm diameter.

1. Turn off the power!
2. Pull off the 6 timer knobs - they just pull out with a click. Leave the three big knobs.
3. Slide the oven forward until you can access the back of the top panel.
4. Undo the two recessed screws on the back of the extreme left and right of the top panel.
5. Replace the tube, replace the front panel, push in the six knobs and set the timer.
NOTE - the oven will not do anything until you set the time (including light you have just replaced)!
