Resetting Immobiliser on a Rover 25 ?

I've jump started a Rover 25, got it going, let it get warm and then switched off. Tried again from its own battery, all dash lights up but not even attempting to turn over. Is the immobiliser on? If so how do you reset it. Its a 2003 Rover 25, 1.4 IxL. Ta
