FITTED NEW ELEMENT BUT STILL NOT HEATING UP?

I have fitted new elements but my tumble dryer is still not heating up. It is a Hotpoint TDL32. eVERYTHING ELSE WORKS IE DRUM GOES ROUND , SOUNDS FINE, DO I NEED NEW THERMOSTATS?
