Fridge leaking R 600a refrigerant?

I was extremely, totally and completely stupid and ruptured the pipework in my fridge which has been leaking R 600a gas ever since Thursday night. Its a Liebherr KIS3242. I think its stopped leaking but I can't seem to get rid of the chemical smell in the room - is this dangerous? What can I do?

how to replace r600a to r22

the chemical smell may well come from the compressor oil, there is always some oil in circulation, definitely a "chemical" smell, and a small quantity may come out if there is a leak.

Fix the unit and clean the parts that my have been touched by oil. It is not dangerous.

if you broke into the pipe and released the gas it would come out in seconds as there is very little in there 50-100g as a rule.if the gas has come out the fridge would stop working and no cooling would take place.stop running it if the gas has come out as this may cause smells from components getting hot
