Regular cleaning out required !! Flush the generator internals as per your manufacturer manual.. eg, on a Tefal GV8150, Tefal recommend doing this every 9 or 10 uses , but there's a lot to be gained by doing this even more frequently, doing so for at least a couple of minutes each time, .... all depends on the quality and mineral content of your tap water , so as a rule of thumb , do it as often as you can , should only take a few mins to do it BEFORE you use the Genny, a lot quicker than having to do the laundry all over again !
