Can someone explain what steps should be taken in servicing an oil fired boiler.I am an electrician and have a little knowledge but would like to know what exactly is covered in a boiler service.

* Boiler flue output analysed
* Pipework inspected, with ventilation and clearance check
* Full testing of all boiler components and functionality
* Disassembly and cleaning of key components
* Replacement of any boiler components that are faulty or nearing end of life
