how do you dismantle a 3 seater sofa recliner moving out of flat?

some backs on a recliner just pull off.Simply ease the back off from side to side. Behind the sofa will be a flap and inside the flap a pocket where 2 spring clips hold onto the reclier back. If they are stiff to remove ease the little lips up and try again or have someone sit on the sofa whilst you pull off the back. Good luck. It took me 2 hours to work it out.

if you tip your sofa over you will find 4 bolts under each piece that holld that piece to bars that set on the floor . if you remove those bolts that piece will lift away from frame.you will probablyend up with 3 single pieces and 2 bars.bolts will be at bottom of frame right near the floor.

I have never had a recliner but recently moved a 3 piece suite from a relatives house - one arm chair was a recliner and a bit on the heavy side. They all went out without any dismantling.

Sofas usually get stood vertically and are eased around the door with the door frame snug-up against the part of the sofa where the arms and the backrest meet. Sometimes you need to take the feet or casters off to get it through.

Your reclining sofa will probably be very heavy so I advise someone strong to help you.
