unable to sign on clerk or even asign a clerk number without a E1 error. do I need to clear ram?f so need to know how to do that

Hi Mike,
Clearing RAM is a last resort, as you may lose LOTS of system programming and end up with hours of extra work. We can check a few things first:

Can you use it at all in REG mode?
If it needs a clerk, it will show 'CL' when you try a sale.

Can you do any program scans? If you can read the program, then we can look for any problems in the results. See if you can scan the clerks.

Can you get a daily report in Z mode? Try a few reports and see what happens.
