How do I configure a Zanussi PCB?

I've recently had to replace the PCB in my IZ16S washing machine but the boards come unconfigured. I'm led to believe that they can be configured by the common man without the need for an engineer by using the control panel buttons.

Can someone explain how?

Hi Mike, sorry to hear you had a problem with your machine. I'm led to believe requires that I replace the main PCB. Initially I thought I had a problem with the door locking solenoid, which has not fixed it.

Essentially the door locking logic doesnt appear to be working correctly which means the machine wont start the program because it thinks the door is still unlocked. The door clicks a few times, then I get an E40 fault code.

Was this the same problem you had? If anyone else knows what it could be, I'd love to hear from you!

Thank you, good luck with your repair!
