Hello
We checked out our motor and it seems to run fine .
The brushes are good.
The bottom belt runs ,but the top belt does not move until I move the wheel several times and the machine will start to sew,not as fast as it should.
Do we need a new belt ?

Sounds like you need to adjust the belt tension, or replace belt , if you can still get one , make sure the machine is nice and free when you turn the hand wheel ,if machine is tight belts will slip,
