Grant Oil Boiler - Heating but no hot water!?

We are having problems with our Grant oil boiler.

The heating is working fine but there is no hot water (lucky if its lukewarm when on full hot in shower).

The water comes directly in from the mains and there is no storage tank.

Please help I need a hot shower in these cold months!

your diverter valve is burst, its a valve with a diaphram that controls the flow of water into the boiler, when burst water surges through the valve at a much faster rate. the water passing through the boiler doesnt have enough time to heat up, only to mid temp
