where is this screw on the burner?

Thanks so much for this - bottom screws on cover difficult to get to - use a torch (flashlight). Remember to run the boiler so the pump pushes the oil through and gets rid of the airlock. All working now!

We had an air lock in our heating system after running out of oil, so we had to bleed our boiler. We did this by removing the large grey cover, which was attached by a screw in each of the 4 corners. Underneath we found the start button directly facing us and two small hexagonal nuts on the lower LHS. The essential bleed nut is the BOTTOM nut of these 2 nuts, NOT the upper one with the screw insert. Loosen this bottom nut and press the start button. Don't forget to turn the heating on first. (We were told not to touch the tiny allen key screw behind these nuts, as this should only ever be loosened by a boiler engineer). We put a small container under the bleed nut to catch the heating oil as it spurted out. The boiler charged up after 3 attempts. Re-tighten the bleed nut and screw back on the cover. Happy and cosy again....Good luck!

Remove red cover (2 screws). Allen key grub screw on LHS of red starter burtton, angled at ~45 degrees, is the bleed screw on my unit
