crack on top of ceramic hob in the heat ring area?

a 3" crack has appeared on our Beaumatic ceramic hob
it is a fine hairline crack uneven not a streight one as if cracked by beeing knocked. Can it be repaired?

No. You can only replace the whole top of stove, not just the glass. Very expensive.
