how can i fix my simpson esprit 500. it doesnt drain when in spin cycle?

my simpson esprit 500 doesn't drain. It doesn't engage the pump when it gets to the spin cycles. sometimes it does and other times it doesn't. Any ideas?

It has an electric pump. When it fails to pump out can you still hear the pump running or maybe hear a humming sound? This would inndicate a blockage in the pump. If pump does not start you may have a bad wiring connection, a faulty pump or a faulty timer.
