whats the problem?

brand new electric shower fitted but cannot adjust water temp it is either red hot or freezing cold. Is it a fault in the shower or could it be something to do with the water pressure iam told that lack of water pressure would result in no flow which makes me think i have bought a faulty shower unit

could be something as simple as a blocked / faulty shower head that just needs a clean.

It could be that your water pressure IS low. Whoever told you that low water pressure results in no water flow is completely wrong. This will certainly make the shower oscilate from hot to cold. Get your water pressure checked to make sure the minimum is there.
