cant get alarm to work and the passenger door wont lock with central locking also heater fan cuts out periodically,and engine managment light lights periodically for apparentlly no reason ,does anyone have any advice on this please,i have recently bought the car and a little concerned.thanks

Alarm could be any number of things. Best to ignore it unless you really need it.
Door is probably connection or solenoid in door.
Engine management light could be a number of things, but is often the lamda sensor in the exhaust.
