Frigidaire Crown Series Heavy Duty DRYER?

My rental unit dryer - Model #FLEB43RGS2/Serial # XE21100104 will not power on. Please advise least expensive fix and suggest if and should fix be done by tenant. Thanks much.

my dryer will start but it will not spin at all and i checked the belt and there is nuthing wrong with it. I can turn the tumbler with out any problem. Also when i opened the door it kinda smelled like smoke what could be wrong with it?
