I'd check the machine for clogs in the hose, like a toothpick jammed in somewhere and then a bunch of stuff piles behind it. There are a few bendy parts that detach with a clip, try pulling those off and looking inside. Also, there is a big foam filter which can be snapped out of it's holder, rinsed and cleaned in water, let dry overnight and replace. Mine works great, but I did forget to clean that filter, after 2 years or so I finally remembered and wow it was clogged.
