Hotpoint make a lot of different tumble dryers and the method of fitting the belt on them varies.Obviously the belt must go around the drum but on some models the front of the cabinet must be removed while on others the rear of the drum can be prized away from the cabinet. once the belt is around the drum it has to be fitted onto the motor pulley, which also varies from model to model according to the jockey pulleys (how many there are and how they are situated) So just saying Hotpoint tumble dryer does'nt really help. Sorry!
