My daughter got hit in the rear and now the front side light and rear light on the drivers side do not work The brake lights and headlights are OK.

Check the fuses. You will probably find there is one for the near side side lights and one for the offside side lights.
Chances are though if this only happened after an accident there is somesort of wiring damage which is causing a short circuit and making the fuse go.
Other than that it could just be that the bulbs have gone, but that would be quite a coincidence!
