Sounds as if the motor is OK. I am assuming that the drive to the drum is via a V belt. They don't last for ever! If that has failed, then the motor will turn over but the drum will not rotate. Check or get someone to check this for you. It is a simple job and even if Creda don't do spares anymore, take the broken belt to an industrial bearings, belts & engineering suppliers (find in Yellow pages) and they will match it for you.
