Repair of the Premier 300 is not difficult but getting hold of spares at a reasonable price is. Access is gained by removing the top and front of the machine. Remove two screws, one each side on top of the side panels, under small plastic covers. Remove detergent drawer. Remove single screw behind drawer. Release snap in fasteners and lift front control panel free. Rest on top of machine without disconnecting.Remove two screws, one each side from where front control panel was located. Remove front kick panel by pulling off. Remove two screws holding on the bottom of the front panel. Remove door seal spring and fold door seal into drum. Remove two screws holding door switch to front panel. Remove single bolt from centre of front panel while supporting weight of door and front panel. The motor and heater are accessed from below the drum after the front panel has been removed. If the motor has stopped working, try changing the brushes. About £30-£40 on ebay compared to £350 for a new motor.
There is a white plastic tube, with a black 3mm rubber pipe attached, that is fitted to the front of the drum, just above the heater element .This can become blocked and cause problems. Remove it and clean each time the front is removed. Good luck it you decide to have a go.
