i have a cannon chester cooker,its only 5 years old.when i turn the oven on the flame is very low and does not heat the oven at all.the flame will not go up even if i turn it fully up to number 9.

Hi there ....

After moving our 4/5 year old Cannon Chester for cleaning and then plugging back in the fuse blew. After changing fuse and then plug, the electrics are still dead. Cannot use the main oven, only the hob and grill work now. Is it something that can be fixed economically or a write off? Many thanks!

The oven has an FFD device fitted which is heated by the oven on ititial light up.Once this is heated over the next 30 secs it pushes open and lets the full gas come on.If this isnt happening and the flame is warming the rod up correctly then this part will be faulty.
