Problem now sorted!

It was the drainage plug under the battery (blocked with gunk!)

Took the battery out, then cleaned out the plug. Had to lift the carpet behind the drivers seat, tough job! but all done now!
A hell of a lot of water was removed from rear well (over 3L) Even though it didn't seem too bad, once the carpet was lifted it uncovered a very thick underlay. This is where all the water was.

If you need any pointers, please feel free to ask.

Good luck!

I used a hose pipe, and sprayed it on the wind screen for a minute or two. Then with a light checked around the battery area. Water had gathered, and not run away as it should. Apparantly there is a drainage point under the battery, this has a tendancy to get blocked with leaves and such. When the water fills to a certain level, it runs into the car via the filter area. From this point, belive or not it can run as far as the rear well. Also there could be an issue with your sunroof (if you have one??) Something to do with a drainage point there too....
Please post your findings....

Try this link. Lots of interesting info....

I found this due to the fact that I have the same problem. Front passenger well, and rear drivers side, this is the bad one! Lots of water here! going to tackle on Sunday. Can not wait! Good luck!
