my fridge in my caravan will not work on gas and when i try to put it on 12volt it trips the electric i have a spark when on gas but no flame

hi the 12v is run directly from the car battery so you must check wires for shorts.if it wont run on gas but there is a spark first check gas supply usally have a turn of tap under a cupboard near the fridge if theres gas then remove fridge and clean the jet for the burner as the rust on the back of the fridge falls down and blocks it.
