My Zanussi double oven ZUQ875 isn't heating?

The bottom (main) oven in my Zanussi ZUQ875 double oven does not heat up when set to 'fan oven'. The fan works but there is no heat. The oven does heat up on all the other settings. Could it be a problem with the selector switch?

I replaced the fan heating element with advice from ck, many thanks, got new element for £23. Was expecting to pay £100+ to get someone in! Old coiled element had split and was definitely to blame. When switching back on, had to set the clock back to normal time before element would heat, all fine after that. :)

I had the same problem, added a new element but when tested, nothing worked on lower oven

Not the switch as a rule just sounds like the fan heating element has packed up.can be remove from inside oven cavity and is located around the fan that you can see.remove the cover in the back of the oven cavity using the 4 screws and you will see fan element
