Will not turn off Kenmore disposal model 175.60115?

My disposal would not work. I hit the red reset button and now the only way I can turn it off is by unplugging it.

disposers have no off/on switch built in ,only an over load switch which you found to reset your unit,so most likly your problem is in your wall switch where the power comes from.you can do it ,yes we can
