I have just purchased new saucepans for use on this hob, BUT still have my Pressure Cooker which I cannot now use. I understand there is a plate that I can put under my pressure cooker to allow it to work, I am concerned that if I purchase one of these plates that it will weld itself to the hob. or scratch it.

Please can anyone advise me regarding this as I use my pressure cooker a lot.

I also have a diplomat elite, no manual, do you have to have special saucepans for the hob to work? If you have a manual I would be happy to pay for a copy. thanks

Hello Doreen, We have an AAA1473 hob but it has no instruction manual with it and since MFI has gone into receivership customer services is non existant. Is there any chance you could scan and e-mail me a copy or photocopy and mail it.I would of course be willing to pay a small sum for your trouble.I know this all sounds a bit cheeky but i'm really stuck without it.I would be eternally grateful if you could help.

Hi Doreen, I have seen one of these plates today but did not know where the customer got it.It was made of silicone so will not scratch and will withstand high temperatures.really, an induction hob will only work with good quality pans that are made for these hobs.
They are in a niche of their own and have annoyed a lot of our customers that have had to discard old favourite pans they have had for years.all the best.
