take it outa the pond!
try removing the carb float bowl and cleaning the float valve of possible dirt/muck.
You may be able to just twist the carb on its manifold to gain acccess the the screws holding the bowl.
Be careful that u dont loose the little pointy bit of the valve when u remove the float!
