wheel problems?

The back wheel on the drivers side is making a squeeking noise and when i checked the whell after a journey it was red hot . it feels like it could be related to the hand break. Any advise?

your hand brake needs adjusting,its not a good idea for a novice to try and repair brakes so my advice is to ask a mate who does know about cars or take it to a garage,its not a big job so wont cost the earth
