Second battery?

Has anyone had any experience in fitting a second car battery? I would like it behind the van passenger seat. I realise the dangers here, and want it legal. If I fitted inside a battery box, would this be ok, but I do wonder about ventilation. Is there a way?

no legal issues batt must be secure.can be vented throu small hole drilled in floor pan.most batts have a vent pipe fitting as standard.check batt for this.earth wire to suitable point and live to original batt,or alternator, you can buy ford/renault fusible links,600amps.to protect circuit
