my hotpoint aquarius doesnt start ?

It will not start unless I give the door a gentle kick, this will start it, but sometimes it will stop and I have to give it another kick ?? Any ideas what this could be ?? Is it time for a new one ??

It maybe that there is some form of switch that needs to be operated when you fully close the door. Try checking that your door is closing correctly
