Go to your Ford dealer with your registration documents and ID (to prove you own it) and ask them to look up the Key Code. From this code they will cut you a new key (obviously for a small outlay). I hope this helps.

Only a guess mind you get some stiff wire [coathanger] not to thick though put small hook on one end and slide that down between the window and rubber of the front driver/passenger door I've done it, not on a mondeo though, and snagged and pulled on the inner release handle cable and soon as you hear the lock release open the door quick incase it locks itself again. It's trial and error and sometimes you will catch the window runner and it's a bit of a struggle getting it free again.
