Finally found it. It was easy to identify once i had the new one in my hand. It was bright green plastic on the end :). Thanks for the info.

Would that be left or right as you look at the engine. I can't see it anywhere.

Thanks for that mate. Had a look but the engine compartment is so tightly packed i can't see a thing in there. would i be right in thinking it is in the area around the battery compartment, or behind/underneath it.
