How to fix crack in Lexan (plastic) bowl of Cuisinart/KitchenAid processor?

A crack thru the plastic causes liquids to leak. Any safe material to hold it fast, and not interact with the food?

I would like to avoid having to $$ replace the bowl of this vintage Cuisinart.

You could try Acrylic glue from B and Q. It comes in two tube and you mix them together. I have used this on my Swan make bowl and it is still going strong. hope this helps
