See answer about replacing on/off switch on WTA 3100. Once you get the panel off, disconnecting the timer drive shaft, you disconnect the front knob from the back of the inner knob, and then disconnect the inner knob from the front of the panel. You will probably find that one of the little tangs on the inner knob has broken, just like mine. A new inner knob is just a few pounds.
