Speedfight 2. 50cc. How to top up gear oil?

I have bought a peugeot speedfight 2 scooter. 5 years old with no maintenance book.I want to check and top up the level in the final drive gearbox. I can see the filler but no level plug or is it one and the same? Can someone help me 'How to` and what spec oil I need. Thanks
