How can I fix my Samsung J1453 washing machine?

Samsung J1453 Washing Machine

On everry fill programme after about 2 minutes the error code 4E comes up. The owners manual states that I should ensure the water faucet is turned on, which it is, and also check the water pressure, which seems fine.

I can see water is coming into the machine.

I have cleaned the water hose filter.

I have cleaned the debris filter.

I have replaced the water supply hose.

The machine is just out of warranty so any help would be appreciated.

Check the pressure switch -the system that determines correct water level in the drum. Its a round item about 3 inches across with several wires connected, it sits under the top cover. Its an air operated switch which tells the machine water has reached the correct level. Disconnect the thin rubber pipe from the switch and blow down through it to clear any blockage. Switch itself may be faulty but its more likely the pressure pipe or the vessel attached to the other end of the pipe is blocked.
