What glue can I use to fix black Formica ?

I am adding black Formica to my columns which have been built out of chipboard. The columns get clad in black Formica but they are bubbling and over time the bubbling gets worse. These are interiror columns. I am only getting problems with black Formica

use an impact adhesive to both sufaces, let them dry to the touch and carefully allign the formica. Then tap gently with hammer and wood to make firm contact, good luck
