bosch freezer losing freezing power!?

Freezer losing power, keep boosting temp to get it colder and does not seem able to keep icecream hard! Food slowly defrosting! The alarm comes on every other day as well so the system is not running correctly. Model number KKU3301GB/05 FD7909. It is about 8 years old. I had it serviced by Bosch 2 years ago and the engineer said it was fine - when the freezer was always losing temp. can anyone help?

I think that the model you refer to is a frost free one, in which case find somewhere else to keep your frozen food for at least 24 hours then unplug unit and leave the doors open at room temperature and the problem should be cured, if it happens again within 6 weeks then there is a defrost fault with the core, now I know what you are thinking, either "this is supposed to be frost free" or "I cant see any ice" but trust me I work on these all the time.
