wandering ford escort?

hi, re escort td estate 1998, when driving , and pushing down on throttle pedal, the car pulls to the right, when i ease off, it pulls back to the left. ive changed the n/s bottom arm , and also the track rod end, as there was a bit play. the o/s seems ok, would it be better to do this side as well ? or is it the streering, as im getting a bit worried, with this sliding about, ive only drove it 3 times !

If you've changed the bottom arm and track rod end have you had your tracking done? This can cause your car to wander about as your wheels will be out of line until you get the tracking done. Was the car wandering before you had the bottom arm and track rod end done? If your tracking is out it will also cause your tyres to scrub down on one side. Are your tyres properly inflated? Hope this is of help
