my peugot 2006 v reg speedometer has stopped working is this a common problem for this make of car . I have had the sensor change however it still does not work . If the fues is changed also will this make it work again .

Sometimes the speedo needle comes loose from its spindle on the 206. If it is that then you need the dash apart to push the needle back on. If this IS the problem and you do it yourself make sure your hands are dry and clean. It is easy to leave fingerprint marks which will show up annoyingly for ever.
